Become the keeper of an isolated lighthouse, which seems to have mysteriously awakened to life. Gifted with a will of its own, it controls the electricity from its summit and constantly seeks to power itself.

Driven by a strange obsession, concoct monstrously delicious dishes to satisfy this creature… with a pinch of madness? Every card in your hand must be cooked or eaten.

Every day, feed this enigmatic guest, enriching your recipes with your discoveries, experimenting with unfamiliar flavor combinations… but beware of tasteless mistakes that will plunge you into obscurity.

Student project completed in 5 weeks. The initial theme was to make a card game involving cooking mechanics.
One of the main constraints that greatly increased the scope was to make it a game with a high replayability.

 

As part of this project, we produced Sous Tension game design document 

We plan to continue working on it !

Some of the things we will first focus on will be :

  • Add passive items that will influence the course of the game
  • Dig deeper into the mechanics of deckbuilding and add the possibility to focus your gameplay around a speciality
  • Work on the story and add more narrative elements
  • Work on the post process and rework some of the visual effects
  • Add subtitles instead of dialogue
  • Add more SFX
  • Improve the UI while keeping it diegetic
  • Improve the tutorial
  • A lot of Debugging !
